Francie Randolph’s work falls into two main categories: series created for exhibition–which explore her ideas about the world–and work made on commission, which bring visual form to the ideas of others. The dividing line can be arbitrary and fluid, or at other times quite distinct.

My brain and eye are the constants, working together to turn abstract ideas into visual meaning. I search for simplicity–paradoxically one of the most complex goals to achieve.
